A series of aerial postures, most often performed by three teammates: the base (in contact with the ground, supports the movement), the flyer (executes aerial movements) and the spotter (ensures the safety and progress of the practice ), generally constitutes the heart of an acroyoga practice. The practice begins with preparing the body and ends with a return to calm, both of which increase the benefits of the acroyoga session. The practice can be oriented towards an acrobatic goal where we aim for pleasure and self-realization
